Relais & Châteaux Heritage Madrid

The whole team was phenomenal and professional, and the hospitality felt rare these days. Manager Julian even helped me arrange another hotel during my vacation. This is a five-star hotel, and I’ll stay here whenever I come to Madrid.

What I’ll remember most about Heritage is how special the staff made us feel. Mariana and Zaid at the concierge desk, along with bellhop Arya, were wonderful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. My mother was visiting Spain for the first time in nearly forty years as a birthday gift, and they made her happy too. After we’d checked out, the hotel also helped us on our return to Madrid a few days later. We had a same-day flight, and the staff found a place for our luggage and let us repack as needed. We stayed at several places around Spain, and Heritage was the one that stood out most. The little nightly surprises on the bed, lovely design, coffee on arrival, foot masks, and pristine feel were all appreciated, but the service was what made the stay memorable. We’ll keep the Heritage line of hotels in mind for future trips.

The restaurant on site has a Michelin star, a lovely extra, and there are two rooftop terraces. It’s in northern Madrid, near the shopping area and about a half-hour walk from the park. This small boutique hotel felt cozy and welcoming, with individually decorated rooms and thoughtful touches. The staff were kind, attentive, and made me feel cared for. Everything was clean, the rooms were well insulated and very quiet, and the beds and pillows were especially comfortable. It has a personal feel that’s quite different from a big chain.

I spent three nights here in July as a woman traveling alone and had an amazing stay. From the moment my cab pulled up to the hotel door until checkout, I was treated wonderfully. The property was immaculate, and the rooms were beautiful, with every detail in place. Each day there were little gifts in my room. The reception team showed me around the property and, without me asking or mentioning any status, moved me to a better room with a balcony and a view for the second and third nights. They had a better room available and wanted me to have the best stay possible. It felt like princess treatment from start to finish. The properties in the Relais & Châteaux collection also have historic backgrounds, which made the hotel more interesting and welcoming. I’ll definitely return. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.
