The staff are warm and welcoming, and the hotel is pleasant, if nothing fancy. The rooms felt a little small for a four-star place, though they were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent, but I would’ve liked more vegetables. The metro is a few minutes away on foot, and the airport is about 20 minutes by bus.

We had a problem with the safe, but the staff had fixed it by the time we got back after being out all day. The bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains were a treat. Breakfast was great, too. There wasn’t a coffee machine in the room, which I personally missed before breakfast. The location worked brilliantly for getting to the airport and into central Madrid: about 10 minutes to the airport and 25 minutes by metro to the center.

We spent about three nights here and had a good stay. The room was quiet, cozy, and comfortable, and daily cleaning kept it fresh. Breakfast had a good range and quality. Canillejas metro makes it easy to reach the city center in about 20-25 minutes. It’s a good neighborhood, close to the airport and ideal for anyone visiting IFEMA. I’d recommend it if you want to stay a little away from the noise of the city center.

The bacon was ridiculously good, and the bathroom was nice, with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste that wasn’t too minty. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the beds comfortable. I wouldn’t stay again, though: it felt a bit too far from the center, even with the cheap, easy, and amazing metro. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and bars, but the ones we found were low quality. We weren’t told the pool was closed, even though the weather wasn’t good enough to use it anyway. And breakfast really needs baked beans.

This was my second stay, and it’s just right for the kind of weekend away I like. Shops, bars, and restaurants are only minutes away on foot. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly. I’m looking forward to coming back.
