We stayed with three people in a Triple Standard Room. The room was clean and had plenty of clothes hangers, but a kettle would have been useful with the kitchenette, and the bathroom ventilation wasn't very strong. VP Madrono is in a slightly quieter neighborhood, close to the metro and within a 15-minute walk of some of Madrid's luxury brands. There aren't many amenities, but there is a nice garden area for a drink and a restaurant downstairs. The staff were friendly and gave us some good local tips. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it. PS. The soft candy is addictive =)

It's a quiet area, with plenty of cafes and restaurants just a few blocks away. The room was really spacious and had a deep soaking tub that was great for relaxing. The staff were friendly, too. I'd definitely return on another trip to Madrid.

They let us check in early for free because a room was available, and gave us complimentary water and a drink each day, which was handy in Madrid's summer. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, and the hotel has a really good location.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the room was spacious and well designed. It stayed cool inside even with the A/C off, while it was 38 degrees outside. The kitchen equipment was greasy and disgusting. The cups, glasses, pots and pans were clearly not cleaned. It's strange that there's a small kitchen but no washing-up liquid or sponge. I also don't think a socially and environmentally conscious establishment should support companies like Nestlé Nespresso, with its machine and coffee pods, or Coca Cola beverages.

There was a good range at the breakfast buffet to suit different tastes, and the rooms were very spacious with a kitchenette. The staff were extremely nice.
