The rooms were huge and comfortable, and the person looking after us was so kind and attentive. What really stood out was the building itself, a former farmhouse restored by someone with a passion for Isabella I of Castile. The furniture, coffered ceiling, floors, and columns all show exquisite but understated taste. Since the historic buildings in Madrigal were closed, this was easily the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended.

The town is quiet and lovely for a weekend away, and there are plenty of things to do nearby, including visits to wineries. This inn feels like home, with wonderful service and an absolutely marvelous breakfast, the best without a doubt. Our room was enormous, the bed incredibly comfortable, and everything was impeccably clean. It’s an ideal spot for couples wanting to immerse themselves in history. I can’t wait to come back!

The breakfast was really good, with lots of variety, and the staff were notably friendly and always attentive. There’s a lovely charm to the different areas, and the rooms are spacious with big bathrooms. A fantastic place to get away from the daily grind and relax. I’d definitely return.

Diana and her team helped me plan a proposal to my future wife in one of the inn’s wonderful rooms, number 13. They kept everything discreet and decorated the room beautifully. I’ll always be grateful to Diana, even though I hadn’t met her in person before, only heard her voice on the phone and seen the website photos. We spent two amazing days there. The inn feels enchanting and magical, with beautiful decor in the rooms and olive garden. A big hug and a thousand thanks for such a wonderful stay. We’ll never forget Diana.
