Casa Belen I y II

After a full day out, it was lovely to come back to such a wonderful house and relax. El Madroñal is very peaceful, and everyone was friendly. Ángel is charming and really knows his wines. Mogarraz, La Alberca, and Monforte de la Sierra are only minutes away, with their architecture, narrow streets, and typical local food. Great rural tourism if you're after some quiet.

There’s only one shower for eight guests, and the living room and kitchen feel small for that many people. The kitchen has very little in it, too. The furniture is old, uncomfortable, and dilapidated, and the shower screen has just one panel where it should have three.

It’s a great house, with a large kitchen and living room, plus three bedrooms with big beds. The village is small and very quiet, with forests all around.

I've stayed in loads of rural guesthouses, and they're usually a bit better equipped. This place isn't bad, though. At least it was clean, and the owner is a great person. As constructive criticism, I'd say putting a little more into the guests' experience could lead them to speak more highly of the place. Oh well, that's how it is.
