Hotel Florida Magaluf - Adults Only

A lovely touch was being able to refill the water bottle provided in the room from drinking water machines around the hotel. We also had a perfectly clean room with a gorgeous sea view, friendly and helpful staff, a great breakfast, and a beautiful beach with sun beds. The only issue I can think of is that smoking is allowed almost everywhere. It was especially annoying to smell smoke from neighbours on their balconies in our room.

The staff at reception and in the restaurant were incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything went well during our stay. The pool and its view were really nice, and the breakfast and dinner buffets had lots of fresh food to choose from. A few things could be improved. Pool towels cost extra, oat milk would be good to have at the pool bar, and sometimes only single loungers were free, making it hard for couples to find a spot together. In the bathroom, the hand soap didn’t smell nice and the shower gel seemed poor quality. A small table or chair to put cosmetics, clothes and other things on would also help.

My wife and I arrived in Magaluf exhausted after travelling for a few weeks, and planned to stay in and relax. This was exactly the right hotel for that, we had no reason to go out. The food was phenomenal, especially the top-notch breakfast. We loved the perfect views, huge room patio and peaceful pool area, where we rented cabanas and slept. DJs even played soothing music by the pool. The staff were friendly, and the gym was enormous, easily one of the biggest hotel gyms I’ve seen. I care a lot about staying in shape while travelling. The location was good too, close to restaurants and bars. Honestly, I can’t think of what else I could have asked for. It was an unbelievable experience, probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

The pool has too few loungers for the number of guests, and charging €10 a week for a pool towel seems a bit much given the hotel’s price. The gym is very basic, with plenty of room for more equipment. On the plus side, our sea-view room had stunning views, the hotel was very clean, and the staff were awesome. Breakfast was fantastic, probably among the best on the island, with lots of choice. The Sky bar was 10/10.
