The plants and little places to sit were the nicest part for me. The place felt like a traditional Andalusian house. I was there one night before a wedding in Sevilla, and it was a comfortable, pleasant room for a really good price. The room was basic, with honey-colored varnished pine furniture that looked very 1980s. The hair dryer was a bit old, and the shower door seemed ready to be replaced, though for what I paid, I felt I got what I expected. There’s a bar inside, which may matter to some guests, though I didn’t have a drink. Getting back in through the lobby was confusing: the entry system locked me out several times. Luckily, the receptionist was still awake at midnight and let me in. This was also the only hotel in Mairena that was convenient for me to reach.

The staff were kind and very attentive, explaining things and helping with all sorts of details. It’s a traditional hotel in the city center, near the fair. They’re updating a few bedrooms, and there are some small details that could use attention.
