Complejo Los Rosales Hotel

My family and I really enjoyed our time here. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, the staff were lovely and helpful, and the food was good too. I loved it.

We stumbled on this affordable, beautiful hotel after our flight was cancelled and we needed somewhere to sleep late at night. It turned out to be an incredibly good choice. Check-in after 22.30 was no problem, and reception was still open. The room and bathroom were large, we slept really well, and there was a huge pool plus a terrace with views of the city and airport. Breakfast runs until 11 am and has plenty to choose from, including eggs, sausages, ham, pastries, cereal, fruit, bread, and all sorts of coffee. At 10 euros per person, it was perfect. There’s also a bar open until midnight, with a nice atmosphere and a good selection of beer, cider, and spirits. Dinner is served until 22.00, though we missed it. We had a lovely short stay and will definitely come again. And don’t miss the parrot, he’s brilliant and well behaved. We had a fun little contest with his whistles and kisses, and he won by far.

The view was nice, but the hotel felt too far from everything. When we arrived, nobody was at reception, so we got our key a few hours later. Luckily, they send the entry code by email. The room was clean, but sound carried badly between rooms, and we could hear every word from next door. For a breakfast costing 10€ per person, there should have been more options, at least eggs.

The staff were friendly and spoke English well, but be very cautious about staying here. My wife and I found things on the mattress that looked like bed bugs. We left right away and told the staff member on duty. We’re going to spray our luggage and wash all our clothes with bleach and hot water. We checked our belongings and everything looks okay, so it may have been an unusual one-off, but we weren’t willing to stay and find out. They looked like bed bugs and were uncomfortably close for us.
