Jeroen and Sandra made the weekend feel special with their warm welcome and thoughtful, attentive hosting. They even took care of a special request and arranged a birthday cake, so the celebration was unforgettable. The apartment was beautiful, spotless, and really comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were both fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. We had a perfect weekend here with friends and came away with great memories. We’d happily return, highly recommend it.

Sandra made our birthday stay especially memorable by baking two lovely cakes for our group of ten. We also had a great dinner and a wonderful breakfast with fresh juice. The guest house felt cozy and comfortable, and our host was kind and helpful throughout. We came in November, when it was cold and rainy, so a warm pullover came in handy. Electric radiators and air-conditioning for heating kept us comfortable indoors. We had a fantastic time and would happily return.

The drive up to Cortijo J&S Juan Salvador was spectacular, and the views from the spotless La Higuera Suite were stunning. It was a great base between the coast and the mountains. Our group of seven stayed for three nights in August 2025, and the suite worked perfectly for us. Jeroen’s local suggestions helped us explore, while Sandra’s fresh breakfasts and seven-course dinner were definite highlights. Jeroen and Sandra were fantastic hosts. Highly recommended.

For a peaceful break with great hosts and delicious food, this place is a lovely choice. The views across the Malaga mountains are beautiful, and the cortijo’s luxury pool is gorgeous. The newly built Ibiza-style apartment looks wonderful too, while the larger one feels more like a villa.

The hosts were warm and attentive, and the food was great. A fantastic Spanish cortijo with service to match.
