It's a very basic apartment, though it does have a fridge and hotplate. The place was nice and clean, with a lovely little pool, and it was right at the edge of the beach.

The staff were really friendly and knew a lot about the area. Shops, clubs, and bars along the busy Malgrat strip are easy to get to, and the apartments sit right on the beach. Book one facing the water and the sunrise and sunset will stick with you.

You can cook in the kitchen, and there's off-road parking too. The apartment is comfortable though pretty basic, with a terrace looking over the pool, BBQ area, and, best of all, the beach. Being right beside the beach makes this a really relaxing spot.

From the balcony, we could see the beach and sea, plus weddings at the hall across the way almost every evening. The staff were really nice, and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen could do with more crockery. It was cleaned twice a week, though we had to ask reception for toilet paper. Quinta Sol is well placed for both the center and the beach if you're after a nice place to stay.

The railway station is a 10-minute walk away, with trains to Barcelona, Calella, Blanes, and other seaside resorts. Right by the beach, this makes an ideal base for a holiday. The hotel was clean, and our apartment was spacious and quiet. Staff were friendly, especially the lady who does the cleaning. We had a few questions on arrival, and they sorted them out right away. We'll be back.
