Finca Es Rafal Roig - S'Aboal

Beautiful place, very relaxing.

The peaceful, beautiful setting and thoughtful layout made for a relaxing stay, with plenty of privacy around each studio or apartment. The cleaning and maintenance staff were very friendly and helpful when we spoke with them, but the personal welcome we expected from earlier reviews didn't happen. We arrived in the evening to find the property deserted, and only saw staff during the stay. The baby cot we'd requested hadn't been set up, and with nobody on site we had to ask the cleaning staff ourselves the next morning. Our ceiling fan was broken too. We reported it and were told it would be repaired, but it never was. Luckily it was early May and the temperatures were still comfortable. Communication through WhatsApp was often very slow, and some messages got no reply. It's a lovely property in a wonderful, quiet location, but responsiveness, communication and guest support need improvement to meet the expectations created by those earlier reviews.

The finca is lovely, with beautiful apartments, lots of animals, a great pool and plenty of quiet. Toni takes all the children to collect eggs from the chickens and feed the donkeys each morning, while Yolanda is always ready to help with requests or suggest local excursions. They take such good care of their guests. We enjoyed another relaxing holiday here after our first visit two years ago, and are already planning the next one. Highly recommend!

Yolanda, Toni, and Alexia are a lovely family, and we'll definitely be back. The apartment was comfortable, with idyllic views, and the property is beautiful and very well cared for. It's great for a countryside break with children, especially if you want to unplug and spend time in nature. They have pets, and provided a crib, bathtub, high chair and baby towel to make things easier for us. Highly recommended!
