Globales Samoa

I travelled alone and had a relaxing stay. The hotel and staff were great, always happy to help, and my room was spotless with the maid coming every day. Buffet meals can get repetitive, as they often do, but it was easy enough to choose something different each day. The poolside snacks were good too. My highlight was the full body scrub and massage for €69. Book ahead, because the slots fill up fast. I'd definitely come back.

It's a lovely hotel, with shops just across the road and the beach a 5-10 minute walk away. We had a great holiday in Mallorca. The rooms stayed clean and were maintained each day when we put out the door tag requesting service. The pool area was good and there were plenty of sunbeds. Food was the main letdown, though there was enough choice, including basics like plain rice and chips, so we didn't go hungry. We preferred the dinner snack bar, which had burgers, hot dogs, and pizza, plus fresh salad and fruit. Most evenings we went out or sat by the bar because the entertainment was aimed at French guests.

Good value for money, and I'd happily book again. The food was good and warm, the daytime activities for all ages were excellent, and shops and the beach were close by. Night entertainment wasn't great.

The sea view from our room was lovely, and the balcony was perfect for morning coffee. The beach, about a 4-minute walk down from the hotel, felt family-friendly, with lots of kids playing in the sand, though there were a few topless bathers. There's an excursion office opposite the hotel if you want to take a tour. We'd read mixed reviews about the rooms, evening shows, and buffet, so I was a bit unsure before our family went to Samoa last week. In reality, we had a great experience. The food selection at meals was very good. The rooms could use a bit more soundproofing, but the noise didn't bother us. The waiters were constantly clearing dishes and sometimes asked if we were finished while we were still at the table. I didn't find that rude, just efficient. The entertainment team was brilliant. They tried to include everyone, spoke at least four languages, and repeated each sentence in all four. The evening shows were good, and the team members were excellent with children. My son was sad to leave and already wants to return in August. He even invited each of them to visit us. For what I paid, I was very satisfied. It was a complete experience. Kudos to the team at Globally Samoa, and thanks for a wonderful stay!
