My Rooms Manacor Centre by My Rooms Hotels

The building looks old, but the renovation is impressive. Our room was small yet enough for one person or a couple, and it came with the basics: towels, blankets, shampoo, and soap. We stayed four days and ended up pleased with the cleanliness and location, despite feeling a little wary after reading reviews beforehand. The area was quiet and close to a bus stop, with some beaches reachable directly by bus.

I’d ask for a couple of chairs on the roof terrace, since it gets such lovely sun. Otherwise, I couldn’t have asked for more: it was clean, well thought out, and an easy 15-minute walk to Nadals place. I was staying at Nadal Academy and loved the location, and the value was incredible, so I’m not sure why the rating is so low. You can’t park right beside it, but there are lots of free spaces a few hundred metres away.

There was no shampoo or anything else for showering in the bathroom, and the room itself was very small. The bathroom had no window, while the room had only a small one. Noise started around 7 in the morning. The internet was really poor, with no signal at all in my room. I asked politely to move nearer the stairs, where reception was a little better, but was told my room's signal was "correct" and that there was a "repeator" nearby. That wasn't true.

I had no problems during my stay. It was a quiet, very clean and simple place, with easy access. For a 2-star place, I think it deserves more credit. Not sure what people expect.
