We chose this as a convenient base for my son’s camp at the Rafa Nadal academy, about a 15 minute drive from Manacor. Getting there was easy. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed, and the atmosphere was generally peaceful and chilled. The food at the hut was very good, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We didn’t spend much time at the pool, but it was nice and clean. A solid stay all around, and I’d come back.
The pool area was lovely and well kept, and the local beaches were superb, just a few minutes’ walk away. Still, several things were disappointing during our 6-night stay. We’d asked for an apartment with a sunny terrace and a parking space, but got neither. Although the listing says free private parking, the check-in machine tried to charge 5 euros per day. Reception said to come back in a few days to see about changing rooms because the place was full, though it clearly wasn’t. We were also told water would be brought to our room, but none arrived. There weren’t any local shops open at this time of year, and there were very few places to eat or drink, so be prepared to walk at least 15 mins or drive. The apartment was damp, our clothes felt damp all the time, and there was lots of condensation in the mornings. I suppose it was because the room got no sun. I’d give it 3.5 stars, but the pool brought it up to 4.
The apartment was spotless when we arrived, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. We had a pleasant stay, and we’ll come back. Already missing it!
This is our 3rd booking at alegre apts, and I usually don’t give reviews this positive, but this place is top. It’s peaceful and quiet, the pool is big, clean, and calm, the apartments are clean, and the air conditioning is very good. The grounds are well kept, and the staff are friendly. The pool lifeguard is supper friendly too. The location is at the 3 best beaches in Mallorca. There’s a breakfast restaurant and an evening restaurant, with great food and really good espresso. This is not a party hotel. All the guests are super tranquillo, which is part of why we keep booking here. Being able to cook some meals in your own apt next to the pool is such a cool experience. I almost didn’t want to leave a good review in case everyone came and I couldn’t get a booking, but it’s deserved. Thanks alegre. Top!
We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back. The apartment was comfortable, with a lovely view of the pool, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Several beautiful bays are nearby, and the staff were friendly and glad to answer our questions.
