The hosts were so warm and generous, and the facilities were lovely. I was even able to add fresh homegrown vegetables to a delicious, healthy meal. After finishing the Camino Frances in May 2018, I still look back on this as my favorite place to stay on the whole Camino. I’d highly recommend it to anyone.

The breakfast was minimal, and for me the value for money wasn’t the best. The rooms were comfortable and excellent, and the location was quiet, though not ideal for walkers. We didn’t get to relax in the outdoor space in the building, which may be available in high season. The village has just one bar with good sandwiches and burgers, but you’ll need to go elsewhere for a proper meal.

I had a hearty breakfast, and the adjustable heating let me set the temperature just how I liked it. The room was quiet, clean, spacious, and comfortable. I also got to soak my feet in the large bathtub and relax.
