This was the worst hotel of our month-long trip. The whole place, including the rooms, was no warmer than 16°C, and the heating did nothing. We chose it because breakfast was included, but you have to ask one bartender for everything: toast, coffee, or bread. He didn’t speak any language besides Spanish, which was very strange. I was allowed just one pastry. At least the breakfast room was warmer, around 20°C.

The place is 0.5 km from the center of Manzanares, and the prices are excellent. It was clean, tidy, and quiet, and the staff were accommodating and helpful. It’s pet-friendly, so you can bring a dog or cat, and I was able to check in early at no extra cost. I liked having breakfast included, and there are fields behind the place where your pet can roam freely. I recommend it and would stay again if I came back.

The pool was okay, but the beds felt like rocks and I didn’t sleep. The included “free breakfast” was burnt, stale baguette or packaged pastries. I won’t eat stale baked goods in Spain. Keep driving.

The rooms are just about okay if you can live with cardboard-thin walls. It was extremely noisy and chaotic, and the staff weren’t very friendly.

Not a pleasant place, especially if you don’t speak Spanish. It was noisy and not very clean, and the people weren’t nice. The photo out front doesn’t show what it’s really like. Run.
