Hostal Jume - Urban Rooms

The service and staff were great, and the continental breakfast was good too. Rooms were very clean, with air conditioning and comfortable beds. It’s well located near the port in Mahon, with shops just a two-minute walk away and a food market where you can get meals. There’s a dining room for a light dinner, and reception sells bottled water and a few snacks.

We came back to Hostal Jume both before and after our walk. The breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of food, coffee and juice in a nicely designed room, and the staff were friendly and professional. Our room was on the small side, but laid out well for a couple and had space for our bags. It was clean, airy and well kept, with a good bed. The place has a funky feel and is well designed. Recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location makes it easy to explore Mahón and nearby places on foot, and the bedroom was very clean. The hotel smelled fresh and clean as soon as we walked in. Staff were lovely and helpful. They let us leave our luggage for the whole day until the next day, and even use a shower after checkout. That was five-star service. Thanks for everything! You can book with your eyes closed 😄

Hostal Jume is right in the centre, close to the market, pedestrian streets, shops, restaurants and historic and cultural places. It’s affordable, calm and very clean. My single room was comfortable and cleaned perfectly every day. I had a good buffet breakfast each morning, and the staff made sure I had GF bread and sweet snacks because of my gluten intolerance. They were welcoming, professional and accommodating. La dueña especially is a pleasure, and her management makes this an appealing place to stay in Mahon at a reasonable price. I visited lots of places around the island, mostly on a scooter rented from Valls near the hostal. I could park it in the hostal parking, and it was nice to come back and rest in a comfortable room at the end of the day. I recommend Hostal Jume 100%.
