Boutique Hotel B51 Puerto Banús

The location puts you right in the center of this lovely city. The rooms are dated, but the team keeps them clean. Housekeeping did a great job, and I never returned to find my room untidy. I also felt comfortable leaving my things there. Thanks for having us, I’ll keep the hotel in mind for another trip.

The housekeeping was impeccable, and the other receptionists were friendly, welcoming, and professional. But check-in left a bad first impression. I asked whether our room might be ready before check-in time, and Raed said he had already told my roommate. When I politely asked him to clarify, he argued about having said it before instead of simply answering. It took longer and felt unprofessional and unhelpful. The rest of the team’s hospitality was lovely, but that one interaction overshadowed our arrival.

The only good part was the ocean view. I booked three nights for a business trip expecting a room in the fully renovated boutique hotel, but got an old flat in a run-down apartment complex from the 70s, down a shady alley. The place was dirty and smelled damp and abandoned, and the alley entrance didn’t feel safe. The online photos bore no resemblance to the apartment’s deteriorated condition or its old, ugly furniture. When I asked to move rooms, the hotel staff wouldn’t cooperate. Worst hotel stay I’ve had.

Really lovely hotel right in the middle of Puerto Banus. We had a great view over the Main Street, and it was a nice bonus that breakfast runs until 12.00.
