The rooms aren't the prettiest in terms of decor, but they were clean and had everything you need for a nice holiday. The apartments are in a very quiet area, and the pool was really nice. The pizza restaurant had lovely pizza, and the people were lovely too. We'll come back.

We had a studio for a week and found it quite pleasant. The room was nice and clean, and the balcony was fairly large for two people, with a view of the ocean. If we return to Andalusia, we'll definitely come back to Coronado.

Coronado is a residential apartment block, with most apartments owned and lived in by residents. It's not mainly a holiday destination, and some people don't realize that when they book. Many people here live and work in the area and don't appreciate noise at unsocial hours, so please be respectful of this lovely community if you stay. It isn't a holiday setup or a hotel. Some owners rent out their apartments privately for holidays, and Heritage owns several apartments. Heritage reception is in a different building near the beach at Playa Real. Apartment standards and cleaning arrangements vary depending on who you rent from, so don't expect the place to be run as holiday accommodation. The pool attendant, reception, garden, cleaning, and maintenance staff are all paid through the owners' community fees and are only for the owners. The pool attendant is there for safety, has no towels, and isn't responsible for Coronado. You need to store any sunbeds overnight so the gardener can do his job. He's not employed to move them. There's only an outdoor, unheated pool. The indoor pool shown in the photos isn't part of Coronado. All owners know this. Coronado is a special place that welcomes people who treat it well.

The balcony was the best part, but I wouldn't stay here again. The place feels very dated, and there aren't any shops nearby, just one Spanish bar. Even though I'm small, the twin beds felt tiny, and the blankets were old.
