The staff were friendly, and the room was lovely. Great walk-in shower and air con, too.

The staff were all lovely, and the hostel is right in the centre, close to bars, markets, and the beach. The rooms were comfortable, with plenty of space for clothes, and the place was unbelievably clean. They even did room service every day, weekends included. For the price, it was absolutely worth it. My only suggestion would be to add a desk, which would be really useful. Definitely recommend it, and I’ll come back when I visit San Pedro!

The location was the only good thing. I planned to stay for two nights but left after just an hour because the room was so dirty. There were cockroaches and silverfish in the bathroom, which isn’t acceptable even for a hostel. The staff also didn’t try to understand any English. That wasn’t the main issue, but I’d expect them to know at least a little. I don’t recommend this hostel.

I haven’t stayed here, so I can only speak about the shop. I know the area quite well, but only wandered in to buy milk and hadn’t realized it was also a hostel. The young owner was friendly and helpful, and the shop was very clean and stocked with almost anything you might need. It’s very central, too. If the rest of the business is like the shop and its owner, you can’t go wrong.
