The staff were so warm and helpful, and the room was really comfortable with everything we needed. The place was spotless, too, and the location was excellent.

The room was neat and very clean, and everyone was genuinely friendly. It’s in a perfect spot. I’d happily recommend this hostel.

The people here really made the stay. Ximena was lovely and great with guests, and Rafael, who was on in the evening, kindly brought me water late at night. The cleaner was friendly too and checked whether I wanted the room cleaned or my towels changed. The Hostal itself was clean, with a lounge where you could sit with a coffee or unwind. It’s close to both the beach and the Old Center, and $80 a night felt fair. I’ve got nothing but good things to say about the place and its people.

We liked it enough to add two more days to our stay. Our rooftop room was small but had what we needed, including a bed, wardrobe, mini fridge and kettle. It was quiet and felt romantic, and we were pleasantly surprised that someone came to clean and replace the towels each day. We also had the rooftop terrace to ourselves for breakfast and dinner, with a great view. Downstairs, there’s a shared space where you can have tea or coffee, and the staff were friendly and polite. The old town is only a few minutes away on foot. The area felt calm and safe. Parking may take some searching, though we managed to find a spot a few minutes away. There’s no hair dryer in the bathroom, and there’s no lift. The narrow stairs could be difficult for anyone with a disability, and carrying our luggage up was a bit of a challenge. Still, I really enjoyed the stay and thought it was good value. I’d recommend it.
