The staff were friendly, and it was nice to have air conditioning and a fairly good location. But the unit smelled really bad, so I suspect it hadn’t been serviced in a long time. The toilet wasn’t working when we arrived, though they fixed it quickly. Check-in took forever, which was awful.

Our bathroom was private to the room and extremely clean, as was the hostel itself. The hosts were really friendly and ready to help however they could. It’s in San Pedro, very close to Puerto bueno. One of the best stays I’ve had!

The staff were nice, the price was fairly low, and the rooms were decent. There’s also a fridge for food and a pleasant rooftop terrace. The downsides were the poor Wi-Fi and the air conditioning, which was so bad that the room stayed extremely hot for sleeping. Guests can’t use the kitchen to cook. The eating room is tiny, with just one sofa and a small table, and it’s also used as one staff member’s personal living room. It smelled bad too.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is right in the center of San Pedro. Reception staff speak very good English and are really helpful. A very nice place.

Art Hostal W has really cool rooms, close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The prices are the best in san pedro ❤️
