Hotel Central

The hotel is in a handy spot, very close to both the center and the beach. My room was spotless and really spacious, with a king size bed. I was very happy with my stay and would book here again.

Our room was unbearably stuffy and hot, so we had to sleep with the balcony door open, even though its lock was broken and that felt unsafe. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the wall instructions didn’t even match the remote. The fridge was out too, and the hair dryer only worked now and then. Reception closes at 6:30 pm, and they didn’t answer our online messages. When we brought everything up the next day, they took no responsibility and offered no fix. The towels were small and thin, and there were no toiletries. Calling this a hotel is misleading. There are better places nearby.

We were there for five nights in March, and the affordable price covered everything we needed. The room had air conditioning, a little balcony, and an en suite bathroom. It’s a convenient spot, about a five minute walk from the beach and old town, and there’s a roof terrace that must be great in summer. Our flight was delayed, but the receptionist stayed to check us in. The staff were lovely and ready to help. I’d happily return and recommend it.

We only stayed a couple of nights, so I can’t say much. It’s a decent budget option near the beach, with restaurants and shops not too far away. Getting there by taxi was the awkward part: they dropped us some distance from the hotel, so we had to haul our suitcase about 200-300m up the street.
