Luxury Penthouse Puerto Banus, Marbella

Medina de Banus 3bed apartment hosted by Dimitry DO NOT STAY HERE. This man has lied and cheated us out of our money. We checked in, but he told Booking.com that we hadn’t and had only come to look at the apartment. No paperwork was done and our passports weren’t checked, which is illegal in Spain. A woman showed us in, but she was unhelpful and seemed eager to leave. I had to call her back a couple of times for information. I doubt they would have left us with the keys if we were only viewing the place. We left within 30 minutes of checking in. The apartment had no natural light and felt dark, dull, and depressing. There was a small outside space, but only 5 mtrs away were iron railings, trees, bushes, and rubbish, with no view. The bedding was poor quality and marked, with no mattress or pillow protectors, which is unhygienic. We asked for pool towels and the woman brought some from the garage that I’d have put in the rag bin. The owner said pool towels weren’t supplied, as stated on their website, even though the apartment has use of a pool. The pool had no shaded areas or parasols, and loud music blared all day from the music pool club next door. I told the owner none of this was acceptable and asked for a partial refund. I gave him many chances to respond, but all he did was lie to Booking.com.

Karim from "letsmarbella " was an AMAZING host. He went above and beyond to help us and was always available. The apartment was lovely and perfectly placed, less than a 2-minute walk from the Marbella Saturday market. Popular restaurants are an easy walk away at night, and the area wasn’t noisy.

This air-conditioned apartment in Marbella has an outdoor pool and is 11 km from Paseo Maritimo. Medina bay includes a kitchen with a dishwasher and oven, along with towels, bed linen, and a private bathroom with a hot tub and bath. Funny Beach is 14 km away, Estacion de autobus is 7 km away, and Malaga Airport is the nearest airport at 47 km.

Dimitry communicated really well. We got in during the evening and reached the apartment at around 11:00 PM, where we were given a quick tour and the keys. There’s a large pool on site that’s great for the whole family, and shops are close by. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and Bez Kamieni Beach is a popular spot. Highly recommended.
