On February 6 at 9:30 PM, I arrived with a prepaid reservation and wasn’t checked in. Nobody gave me a clear explanation, so I had to urgently find another hotel. Reception told me to email about getting a refund. I sent the email right away, but nearly three weeks later there’s still no response. The hotel has shown complete disregard for guests. I find this treatment unacceptable and don’t recommend dealing with them.
The room was spacious, with an amazing view, a very large bathroom, a comfortable bed, and air conditioning that worked perfectly. The hotel is clean and well kept, with a small market for basic items and a sky bar with stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s not the spot if you’re after a party vibe. There’s no pool, though the location may make one unnecessary. You’re right by the marina entrance, close to restaurants, bars, taxi stops, and beaches. The main bus station is about a 20-25 minute walk. Even so, the hotel sits on a quiet street and there was no noise at night. Staff were generally good, though sometimes they didn’t greet us coming in or going out. Prices are on the expensive side, but the comfort and location may justify them.
John was friendly, ready for me when I arrived, answered all my questions well, and helped me find my way around. The room was clean, well stocked, and the air conditioning blew right onto the bed, which was great. There’s also a mini-mart with snacks and basic commodities. Great room for the price. I’ll definitely come back when I return to Marbella!
The Marina views are lovely, and the hotel is in a fantastic location. My suite was elegant and spacious, with everything I needed.
The check-in took two hours, OMG. My stay at Benabola Hotel in Puerto Banús was extremely disappointing. The receptionists in particular were shockingly vulgar, rude, and unhelpful, and the staff came across as unprofessional. For a hotel in such a location, I expected much better service. Their attitude ruined the experience, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend Benabola Hôtel to anyone wanting a pleasant, respectful stay.
