Pension Aduar

The hostel is right in the middle of Marbella’s old town, surrounded by restaurants, and only a short walk from the beach. Location was perfect. My room, though, was very tiny, with the two twin beds taking up most of the space. The air conditioner also started making loud noises after a few hours, so I had to sleep with the windows open instead.

The check-in staff member introduced herself as the administrator, but was rude several times and crossed professional boundaries. That hostile welcome affected our whole stay. The room also smelled unpleasant and was dirty, with peeling paint, strange writing on the wardrobes, and bed linen and towels that clearly weren’t fresh. Cleanliness overall was poor, and the soundproofing was so bad I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. For the price, the quality was deeply disappointing. I’d strongly advise against booking this hotel.

We were able to check in early as soon as our room was ready, even though we arrived in Marbella very early in the morning. After checking out, we could still leave our luggage and have lunch on the terrace. The room was clean and nice, and the location was excellent. This was my second stay at Pension Aduar, and I’d happily return. They’re friendly, flexible, and really look after you.

We were right in the heart of old town Marbella, about a 7 or 8 minute walk from the beach. The check-in went smoothly, and our clean rooms had an old, rustic vintage feel. Thanks to Mr. Davis and Bogdon for their hospitality!
