This was my third year in a row playing Cabopino Golf, and the course is magnificent. All 18 holes are great, with a shop stocked with anything you might need and a very good restaurant too. The first nine has some excellent, challenging par 4s. Hole 3 is especially striking because of the high tee box, looking down over the fairway, then a bunker and the green. We asked this year and were allowed to play the first nine twice, mainly for that hole.
The course is beautiful, with several holes offering magnificent views of the Sea. Its layout is great and so are the greens, though some holes make you think carefully about your route. The beer and food at the updated, very modern restaurant are great, and the service is too!
The staff were really friendly and the service was excellent. The hired clubs were the best we used across our three days of golf. I’d rate the course 9/10, or four stars. Two of the three greens weren’t in great shape, but that didn’t spoil an excellent day out. I’d definitely recommend it and come back.
A warm welcome waited for us in the clubhouse afterward. The course itself was lovely, not especially long but still a real test, and everyone in our group, with different handicaps, enjoyed it. It was in fantastic condition. We’ll definitely return.
We came in for breakfast before our round, and it was freshly cooked, tasty, and excellent. The service across the club was first rate too. I didn’t know much about Cabopino Golf beforehand, apart from hearing it was a tight, tough track, but the experience was excellent. Conditions were challenging but really good, with clear fairways and true, quick greens. The back nine was a particular pleasure, with impressive views. We hope to come back next year.
