Trocadero Beach

Thomas took such good care of us, with a warm manner and excellent service. We were a happy group of friends having Sunday lunch at Trocadero Arena, and the sea views, waves, and afternoon sunshine made it a lovely place to spend time together. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cosy and stylish, and the staff were attentive and professional. We left feeling relaxed and joyful, and we’ll definitely be back.

The food was good and the staff were helpful. It’s right by the beach, with parking nearby, though I thought it was a little expensive.

The atmosphere picked up once the place got busier and music came on, and we ordered some food. We’d arrived after a long walk, and the location really is stunning, but at first the service felt cold when we only wanted drinks. Then the man who’d been serving us disappeared, and things went downhill. The staff seemed clueless, and one woman on the team was too busy checking her reflection to notice whether anyone needed help. The owner seems to have spent a fortune on the place, and the website gives the impression the team share that passion. Sadly, I didn’t see it.

We dropped in and managed to get a table, though booking ahead seems like a good idea. The beachside setting is lovely, and both the food and service were great.
