Items were taken from my room without my permission, which I find completely unacceptable. The staff’s manner of speaking was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and the service was poor. Breakfast was very limited and not enough. The hotel didn’t meet basic standards of service, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I stopped in for a quick drink on 30th July 2022, and the owner was still giving excellent service. It remains a calm, relaxed place, and the air conditioning was welcome. The hotel is traditional and elegant, with nice, very clean facilities. I first visited to ask about a room for my father-in-law, and the owner showed us several options before we booked. It was even better than when we’d stayed there over 4 years earlier.

There are a few things that need attention: the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable, some bathroom bulbs flicker, and the air conditioning didn’t work. Breakfast could use more fresh choices and fewer processed foods. The doors don’t block much noise, and some furniture and room features show wear.

It’s a fantastic hotel with real class. The owner is proud of the place, friendly, and extremely helpful. There aren’t many places left that help with luggage. The rooms have old-world charm and are super clean. The shower is powerful enough to knock you off your feet.

The terraces are increíble, and the views are really good. There’s plenty of Spanish history here, along with very good food and excellent care from the owner. You can enjoy some of Andalucía’s traditions during your stay. Highly recommended.
