Hotel Riu Palace Meloneras

We had bright sunshine and lovely warm weather for 12 of our 13 days in January. The buffet was superb, and we also enjoyed a few evenings in the Spanish Restaurant for a change, where Felix and his staff looked after us very well. Our rooms were cleaned incredibly well by Claudia, and regular towel changes were a bonus. Lola at reception was excellent, as was Anara at breakfast, and we loved getting to know the various characters among the evening waiting staff. This was our second two-week stay at this great hotel, and it won't be our last. From arrival to departure, the staff couldn't be more helpful. The management are visible, friendly and easy to approach, which is always a good sign. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful holiday, and see you again next January!

We always seem to be among many returning guests here, and we're clearly not the only ones who come back regularly. The Spanish a la carte restaurant has delicious food and the best sunset views. At the buffet, the food is consistently good quality with plenty of choice. The location works perfectly for shopping or a visit to the beautiful beach at Maspalomas. This is our go-to place for a relaxing, rejuvenating holiday, and it never disappoints. Another fantastic break with excellent service from all the staff. We'll be back again.

The infinity pool has a stunning view, so you can lie by it and look out across the ocean. The location is perfect. Food was really good, with a great choice of different dishes. The rooms are big, and the bathroom has two wash basins and a massive walk-in shower. There's also a decent balcony with comfortable chairs.

On our second visit, the hotel lived up to all expectations. The swimming pool was excellent, and there was a terrific variety of very tasty food. The room, bathroom, guest bars and restaurants were beautifully clean and well appointed. The location is great, and the staff were wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Just brilliant in every respect.
