We had the worst food we've eaten in Spain so far. It was barely edible, and we were charged 15 euros for a menu without anyone explaining that we were getting one.

I was here for work, and the landscape was amazing.

Really enjoyed it. The service was great.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was tasty, generous and clearly homemade. There isn't a menu to choose from, but they offer a set meal with three starters, three main courses, a daily special, which was suckling pig that day, and dessert or coffee. The price felt more than fair for the quality and amount of food. We'll come back next time we're in the area.

We had lunch here yesterday, May 1st, after my husband and I called to reserve. They asked us to arrive before 2:00, so we assumed there'd be timed seatings and a full restaurant. When we got there, only one table with two people was occupied. A few more guests came later, but it never filled up. We didn't think that setup was a good idea. The website mentions a set menu, but across the region, places generally offer only the daily special. Eating out in Las Arribes is expensive, and things aren't as they were a few years ago. Prices and quality haven't improved. If you come here without bringing your own lunch, expect to spend a fortune. Those of us who live in the city feel ripped off, and afterward you feel peskiness at night.
