I'd go back for another meal. There were five generous, delicious courses, and the paella and mussels were standouts.

Gaudí's first major work, which is well worth seeing, is on a nearby street. The apartment is also handy for daily needs: there's a Día supermarket right by the entrance, a Caprabo a little further down, and the central market nearby with restaurants and other essential services. It's very close to the train station, though the building itself is older and has a small elevator. In winter, the gas-fired radiator system keeps the apartment comfortably warm.
