The location was the only positive. The place looked smaller than the photos suggested, and the pictures were misleading. Curtains dragged about half a meter along the floor and were black with footprints. Worst of all, dead cockroaches were trapped between the curtains and live ones were crawling up the wall. We had our one-year-old with us and couldn't even put him down.

Carlota made sure we had all the comforts, and the location was ideal for Mataró. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely return and choose them again without hesitation.

The apartment was okay, though a bit worn, but I wouldn't rent it again. The listing's location description didn't match at all. It was next to a school, with very loud noise from early morning through late afternoon or evening. The promised terrace was actually a small balcony overlooking the schoolyard. It had two mediocre chairs, a little table, and a shabby sun lounger. It was also difficult to reach the contact person, and they never called back.

Mataro is such a lovely town, and the apartment was spotless. I’m very sensitive to the cold, so I brought a blanket for this time of year, but never needed it. I liked everything.

We had a pleasant stay, though a few things could use minor maintenance. The location is very good, but being on the first floor made it a little noisy.
