The parking felt very safe, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple, with great coffee. We stayed one night in a clean room with a comfortable bed. The surroundings were lovely and very quiet, though the bathroom could use an upgrade. It does the job.

We found this hotel by chance as an easy stop off the main road on our way to France, and the room and bathroom were spotless, the cleanest we've ever stayed in. We also had a really good, inexpensive menu of the day. The staff could interact more with guests. I'd give them 3 stars, but my 5 stars are for the room, cleanliness, and food.

A typical Spanish lunch stop, with a café downstairs and restaurant upstairs. I dropped in for lunch on the way from Irun to Madrid. The €14.50 menu del dia is good value, and everything is home cooked. If it's busy, park outside rather than across the road, because the filling station chases people for a parking charge.

This place profits from the horrible 'fire bull' festival, or 'toro jubilo', where a bull is burned alive. People should oppose this festival.
