There’s parking right outside, and the shared spaces are pleasant, with a bar for coffee, cake, and a few bottled drinks, including beer. The rooms are simple but clean and have what you need for a short visit. It’s also an easy walk into town.

The garden seating and covered porch make this a lovely little stop. On a clear day the views are marvelous, and it’s well worth visiting before or after the Marquee of Valdecilla palace and gardens (see review). COVID measures were being enforced. Enjoy!

A beautiful building right at the top of the village, with a friendly family running it. Just be ready for a really steep uphill walk back from the bar 😜🤦🏼♀️. Thankyou!

The place smelled awful as soon as we came in. Worse, after I’d booked ahead and paid half the stay, we arrived at 6 pm with a small child and the owner said our room was gone. She’d given it to another family who hadn’t paid anything. It was a terrible experience.

Inma made our few days here especially good. She helped us with everything and suggested towns in Cantabria we’d never have thought to visit otherwise. The inn is charming and well connected by transport, and everything went perfectly for my family and me. We fell in love with this vacation. I wish more people put that much dedication into their work. Highly recommend it.
