We had a lovely room with a balcony, and our hosts were amazing. We’d booked the wrong night, but thankfully they had room for us. They even called our next hotel to check that we’d booked the right date there. Breakfast was included and did not disappoint. Finding the place while coming off the Camino was a little tricky.

Breakfast was 5* with choices to die for, plus freshly cooked bacon and eggs. The room was beautiful and bright, with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, lovely shower, and toiletries provided. There’s underfloor heating, and you can get to the rooms through a separate door from the bar reception, using the lift or stairs. I hope to come back soon.

It’s a beautiful, very modern place, and really clean. But the bar across the street played music incredibly loudly until 4 am. I was there on a Wednesday, not even a weekend, and could still hear it with earplugs and a pillow over my head. The location is great if you want to go out and have fun. For the Camino, though, I wouldn’t recommend it because you won’t sleep well.

Check-in was simple, and the room was spotless and comfortable. The location is very convenient. Our deal included dinner at the restaurant next door, which was excellent and so filling, just right for Camino walkers. Breakfast at Esquina was top-notch, with a wide choice of healthy, energising food to set us up for the day.
