The courtyard was a lovely spot to sit with a drink and a smoke, and the dining room was outstanding. We really enjoyed the tasty €16.50 menu, though the portions were small. We were also surprised by our room, with its enormous four-poster bed and separate seating area. A very enjoyable stopover in a hotel full of history.

The restaurant in the palace stables had a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The staff were exceptional and did so much to make our stay memorable. I was lucky to stay here through a language immersion program. The centuries-old building is full of Roman artifacts, and it even has a cistern from the Arabic period, with modern comforts alongside all that history. My room had a comfortable double bed, a desk and sitting chair, a large mirror, a closet with drawers, and a spacious modern bathroom with a tub and separate shower. I had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it.

The team was so friendly, they made us feel at home. This beautiful, well-kept historic palace has lovely rooms, a good spa, and an excellent restaurant. Amazing value for the price. I’d gladly return.

The place is amazingly beautiful, and I had a great room with a private patio. There’s secured parking, too. The night attendant was very nice and tried his best in English. I just wish management didn’t assume guests should speak Spanish. Sorry, I don’t!

Luis, the manager, was so welcoming and really couldn’t do enough for us. He wants guests to feel as if they’re coming home, and that warmth came through. All the staff were lovely, polite, and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and packed with history. We enjoyed delicious food with excellent service. It’s a fantastic place, thoroughly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!
