Castell Sol

We’ve just got back from castel sol and are already planning to come again later this year. Alexandra made us feel so welcome, and her husband Sebastian at Kanes bar and resteraunt was just as friendly and helpful, especially with tips about the island. The hotel could do with an update, but it was clean and well equipped. The views and location were fantastic, and it made a great base for exploring. The courtyard was clean, the pool was good, and we had a very pleasant few days.

We’re already into our second week here, and it’s been worth every Euro. The views are phenomenal, the staff are friendly and helpful, and everything we need is right nearby. I think this place has been unfairly ungraded on here. We’ll definitely come back and book Room 204 🌞

I was nervous after reading all the negative reviews, but our October half-term week turned out to be one of our best holidays. The apartments were clean and quiet, and the location was fab. The bar downstairs was great, with good food at cheap prices, and lots of people used the restaurant. We also tried the nearby water park, which I’d highly recommend. Thank you, castell sol, for such a fab holiday.

The beach, supermarkets, and other amenities were all just a five-minute walk away, and the resort itself was a beautiful, peaceful place for a two-week holiday. When we arrived in June 2016, isabella greeted me, my husband, my brother, and his girlfriend with a friendly smile and was really helpful. Whenever we had a problem, the staff sorted it out straight away. Our rooms were clean and tidy with everything we needed. The bar staff were friendly, and the food was good. Toby, amber, and paco were great. We’ll definitely be back in June this year.
