Hostal Port Fornells - Adults Only

I loved this peaceful, welcoming place. It's family run, the staff are really helpful, and there's a lovely pool. The rooms are older and have no TV, which suited me but might bother some people. It's well placed for Fornells and Cala Tirant, and I slept peacefully. Breakfast was included in my rate, with fruit, toast, local cakes and ensaimadas, plus coffee and juice. A gem!

We learned from the kind man who runs the place that it's a family business, with his sister and mother working there too. He loves Menorca, and we learned a lot about the island talking with him. The staff were all extremely lovely, and we'd definitely come back. Although it's called a Hostel, it felt more like a decent Hotel. The cleaning really stood out: our room seemed deeply cleaned whenever we returned in the afternoon, and the whole building always smelled fresh. Breakfast is basic, but they switch up the local cakes every day, so there was something new to try each morning. We had a very satisfying stay.

We got caught in a thunderstorm and ended up at Hostal port Fornals. They looked after us so well and made us feel welcome. We were given drinks and nibbles, and when the rain wouldn't let up, they arranged a taxi.

The buffet was unbeatable, and eating there felt like being at your zenith. There's a lovely beach connected to the hotel, plus an area for scuba diving onsite. If you don't feel like going in the sea, there are two marvelous pools, one for kids and one for adults. It's a great holiday spot for families. The hotel is gigantic, though still not unfathomable. They put in a lot of effort, and there's nothing to abhor here.
