Mérida is beautiful, but places shouldn’t be rented out if they aren’t properly maintained. I hope this helps them improve. This apartment was also more than a 20-minute walk from the city center. The damp smell was overwhelming when we arrived. The photos look lovely, but I doubt the sheets are washed between guests, let alone the bedspreads and duvets. The towels smelled awful, as if they hadn’t been washed properly, or at all. There was no soap in the bathrooms and barely enough toilet paper for six people, just one and a half rolls. At €340 for two nights for six people, that’s excessive when you can’t even get a clean towel to shower with. There were dust bunnies everywhere, stains on all the walls, a dirty fridge, and very few kitchen utensils. I don’t recommend it.

We were just passing through and stayed one night, but really liked the place. It was huge and accessible, and everything was great. The sheets were warm and soft, and we had a wonderful time.

A comfortable, well-equipped place with a big, very comfortable bed. The host was great, friendly, and ready to help. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with no parking trouble, just minutes from the center and shops.

I’ve never stayed in an apartment this dirty. There was dust everywhere, rusty things, dirty light switches, stained walls, and the shower had mold and grime. I felt disgusted getting in. The kitchen had very few utensils and some advertising glasses. Worst of all, there were stains on the pillow and hair on the bed. It was horrible. Then the owner asked us for €10 to stay until noon, saying it was for the cleaning lady. The place looked like it had never seen a broom, mop, or duster. There are so many negative reviews, yet he still doesn’t clean and asks for money for any little thing. Disgusting, I don’t recommend it at all. I’m attaching photos.
