Hotel ILUNION Las Lomas

The bedrooms were extremely clean and the air-conditioning worked great, though I did miss having a balcony. The pool and gardens are beautiful, and most of the staff were lovely. The food was nice too, but few staff spoke English.

For the price, it’s a good choice overall, and the food was okay and reasonably priced. Still, we could hear noise from neighbouring rooms. It wasn’t a huge problem, but I expected better sound insulation in a four-star hotel. The bathroom sink smelled bad, and although reception told us twice they’d bring slippers to our room, they never arrived.

The service is fantastic, and the cuisine is top quality, delicious, and healthy. You should try it. It’s just outside the noisy city.

For what it costs, this is a really good find. The room was huge and comfortable, but freezing even with the heating set to 30 degrees. You can hear EVERYTHING on the top floor and in the corridor. The location is odd, literally in the middle of nowhere just outside the city. There’s a nice pool at the back, so it could be a lovely place to spend a day or two relaxing in summer. Service was alright: the woman at check-in was a bit grumpy, while the person at checkout was delightful.
