Yoly gave us such a warm, friendly welcome. The rooms are bright and airy, with everything you need, and the hotel is spotless. It's set in a quiet hamlet in a wonderfully unspoilt part of Northern Spain, with beautiful, wide beaches and open countryside nearby. Santander's airport and ferry port are close, and the road links are very good. We travel with our pet cat from Portugal to the UK, so it's a really convenient place for an overnight stop. Loved it!!!

The garden was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views and fresh morning air, and breakfast was prepared with real care. Yolanda and the staff were all incredibly kind. The quiet village of Miengo was a great setting, with spacious parking, spotless rooms, and a shower with strong pressure and reliably hot water. Usgo beach is a minute away by car, while Usil takes about six minutes. Both are peaceful and have beautiful views of the Cantabrian Sea. A great place that gave us lovely memories, thank you ☺️

Usgo Beach, just 2 km away, was wonderful, and the parking was convenient. We stayed at La Casuca for three days. The surroundings were quiet, and the service was good, though reception was staffed only when called. Our triple room was spotless, with cute minimalist decor, but it felt cramped. The beds were very low and the mattress quite soft. I liked the unusual, very comfortable sheepskin armchair with its modern print. There was a rolling table that went over the bed, though it barely fit in the room. Instead of a closet, there was a fabric frame with hangers, which wasn't very practical in such a small space. The bathroom had a shower, thick high-quality towels, a window, a very high toilet seat, and a somewhat low sink. Breakfast in the lounge cost €7.50 per person. For the services provided, the nightly price seemed excessive.
