Mas Ombravella

The location worked perfectly for us, with lots of hiking trails close by and lovely surroundings. The cottage was peaceful and spotless, and it had all the little details covered. We spent last weekend there with friends, and Jose was a really friendly host. We'd happily come back.

We chose this place instead of another one, but by the time they called to tell me the house wasn't available for our dates, the other place had gone too. The reservation had been made more than a day earlier, at 2:37 PM, and they rang the next day at 5:13 PM. So much for calling as soon as possible. They said I should cancel and blamed Booking.com instead of admitting they hadn't blocked the dates. Keep lying. Thanks, and happy holidays!

Olga and José made us feel very welcome and were attentive whenever we needed anything. Our two-person apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool and shared areas were looked after well, with space to eat outside or relax and enjoy the scenery. The setting is stunning, with mountains and forests and very little human intervention. There are friendly dogs, plus a separate area with horses, donkeys, goats, peacocks, and geese. We'll definitely return.

You can spend time in the garden's cozy little corners or in the shared living area without needing to leave the property. The apartment is very comfortable, and someone has paid attention to all the details. It's a great spot to get away from the noise, rush, and other vices of city life. The farm is full of activity, and it was nice watching the animals come and go. The dogs and cats were especially adorable.
