Hotel San Juan

The owner was exceptionally welcoming, and we couldn’t have had a better stay. Eight of us from one family booked four rooms over Easter. The hotel is simple but spotless, in a quiet village with excellent bars and restaurants. Ciudad Real is very close as well. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.

After a day riding, the functional, comfortable, well-equipped rooms were just right for getting some rest. We were here on a motorcycle trip, and the owner was especially attentive and helpful with our whole group, always ready to sort out anything we needed. The experience couldn’t have been better. We’d gladly come back on another trip, and would highly recommend the place.

It was just okay, enough to get by. We arrived on Monday, three of us, and booked two rooms through Friday because of a family member’s medical emergency. When we asked on arrival about staying through the weekend, the owner said, “Don’t worry, no problem.” But on Friday, when we said we wanted to extend, he told us it wasn’t possible because he was full. Great! I have guests ask to extend their stay and don’t even check whether they really want to before I start assigning rooms until the hotel is full.

Goyo, the owner, made us feel welcome and comfortable. He had fantastic parking for our motorcycles, and the rooms were clean and warm. His service was friendly, too. I couldn’t give the place less than five stars. We’ll definitely be back on our next motorcycle trip to Granada.
