We had a big room with a great Seaview, and the new washing Machine, dishwasher and freezer all worked fine. The place is huge, so bring a car. It’s gorgeous, spacious and very well kept. The interior has a bit of a 90s feel, though that’s been our experience with hotels in general. We came to experience the country, not sit around in the room. The pool areas are lovely, with good sunbeds and mattresses. Outside the season, though, only one small pool is heated, so the larger ones are pretty much useless unless you enjoy ice baths. Pool bar prices are just wild, 6€ for a pint of beer when bars charge around 3€ feels nuts. Bring your own drinks and you’re set. There are plenty of activities for kids, plus a gym and sauna. We also joined a learn-how-to-make-sangria session at the bar. The woman teaching it was enthusiastic and lovely. I know some people have been angry about repairs and construction, but those are done now 👌🏻

The apartment was clean and in excellent condition. It’s well placed, close to everything in Fuengirola, with easy access to the main road and nearby beaches. Malaga city, Marbella and the surrounding countryside are all a short drive away.

We stayed four days. The bellboys kept asking for tips at every turn, even telling passengers when they were due to go home. Tips are voluntary, so they should wait instead of repeatedly asking. When we asked the front desk to break a bill so we could tip them, they shut us down straight away. The desk staff weren’t friendly at all.

I recently came to visit a friend who owns an apartment here, and the complex was much cleaner than I expected. The facilities were excellent too. It’s in a great spot, more or less right on the beach, and having shops, restaurants and bars on site is a real bonus.

The room was big enough, and the hotel and its service were excellent. Check-in took quite a while, though, much like at other hotels in Spain, because they need to collect all your information.
