The family who run La Familia Apartments made us feel like old friends from the moment we checked in. They checked on us each morning, and the owner's mum was a pleasure to chat with. We'd happily come back. We stayed for 8 nights. The apartment was spotless, just the right size, and the whole complex was immaculate and well cared for. It's an easy walk into Mijas, though far enough away to feel quiet. It was chilly, so we skipped the pool, but the pool and seating area looked lovely for summer.

I stayed here in January 2026 and loved the views and pool. It's right by the heart of Mijas, with easy access to Fuengirola and Malaga. The luxury amenities are more than you usually find in Spain.

Sandra and her family were so welcoming, and gave us recommendations for local restaurants. Our clean, well-equipped apartment had a great hill view over the pool, while the rooftop terrace view at night was something else. There’s secure parking onsite and an honesty fridge by the pool. We stayed for 4 nights. Their own restaurant was due to open while we were there, but we missed it by a few days. That gives us a reason to return. We can't recommend the apartments highly enough.

The view was amazing, and it was great having parking provided. We stayed with the kids and had everything we needed in the apartment. Such a cute place, with very friendly hosts.

We loved the pool area, the spacious rooms and the great WiFi. It's right in the middle of the shops, lovely streets and restaurants in mijas pueblo. Fantastic little place, and we'll be back.
