The portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade and really good. We stopped for lunch and were glad we did. We’ve eaten pretty well around the area lately, but this was a real find. The place was calm inside, the staff were friendly, and the service was excellent. The red berry mousse is especially worth trying.

Breakfast on our last day was practically nothing, despite the €6 per person per day we’d paid. The grill was off, they didn’t have the juices we wanted, and the croissants were from the day before. Dinner and breakfast times were never clear, and the restaurant felt disorganized. The food was quite bad, and the accommodation was shabby, filthy, and decorated in a way I can’t even describe. It couldn’t have been worse.

We didn’t like the place at all and won’t be coming back. It looked shabby, with tacky decor, and the waiter seemed a bit disheveled for someone serving customers. The food could’ve been better too. My first course was a very basic lettuce, tomato, onion, and tuna salad, without even olives, corn, or carrots. That’s not much for a €15 set menu.

We tried Fonda Guimerá because it was recommended to us and had new management. There wasn’t a menu, just a set Easter meal for €17, with a choice of several starters and main courses. Drinks and coffee cost extra. The desserts were okay, but the meal was disappointing for the price. The migas seemed undercooked to me, and the rice was only average. The roast chicken leg was dry, the pork knuckle portion was meager, and its sauce was thin and tasteless. I thought it was far too expensive for what we ate.

We’ve stopped at the restaurant several times while passing through as a group of motorcyclists, and the food was bad each time. There were six of us on one visit and four on another. After that, we decided not to stop there anymore and now eat in Orcau, Cantavieja, or elsewhere. The quality has dropped a lot, and we’re sorry about that. We don’t mean to offend the owner, but the restaurant food was terrible, so if you can avoid it, you’d be better off eating somewhere else. The town itself is beautiful and worth seeing many times. We’ve even taken photos in front of the restaurant and in the street.
