Montse made our stay, along with the hardworking team at the village's "multipurpose hall." You can eat there at any time of day, and it even serves as a polling station. I came back from there on July 23, 2023. The priest's house was exactly what its name suggests, and from my room it was just three meters to the church for Mass. Mivate de La Sierra feels like a fairytale village, well worth staying overnight. Villarroya de los Pinares is an easy drive away, and Serafina at the tourist office was a wonderful guide. If you want to vanish off the map for a couple of days, this is the spot. I'm coming from Cartagena, and I’m threatening to return!
