The location worked really well for us: about 30 minutes from Santander and the coastal towns, with national parks nearby. The village is tiny, though restaurants, cafés and banks are only around 10 minutes away. After walking all day, we loved unwinding in the garden and terrace, where there was sun and shade. Our double confort room was comfortable and had spectacular views. The hosts were welcoming and went out of their way to help. They cooked simple, filling three-course dinners with wine for 15€ per person, and were fine with us bringing a picnic to the garden if we got a vermut or two from their bar. Breakfast set us up for exploring, and we felt safe because Covid-19 health and safety rules were followed. A beautiful place for a few nights.

Everything else was very good, but breakfast was a letdown after the positive reviews we'd read. There wasn't much choice: jam, grated tomato, a few kinds of bread and a couple of types of pastries. Don't expect cold cuts, eggs or anything like that. They told us we could bring those ourselves and keep them in the shared kitchenette, since offering them had become too complicated for them. Eggs are cheap, and given how few rooms the inn has, it would be great if they offered them on request.

We brought our dog and were so glad he was welcome. The owners were kind, attentive and always ready to help, and we felt at home throughout our five days. It's a peaceful, welcoming place that's very well kept. We'd happily return and recommend it. Thank you so much.

Caty and Carlos made us feel right at home. The rooms are really comfortable, the whole place was super clean, and the views were great. We stayed over Easter and enjoyed the hostel and its surroundings. Definitely coming back, highly recommended.
