Amadores beach is lovely, with still, clear blue water, and it was the first time in decades I felt comfortable getting in the sea and floating around. It's a manmade beach, not especially long or large. We rented a sunbed for 8 euros, and an umbrella costs another 8. The Tiki bar has drinks to take back to the beach or you can sit there. Getting there from Playa Del ingles was straightforward by bus to Puerto Rico, then a walk down to the harbour. Finding the ferry took a bit more effort because the signs weren't clear. Walk along the harbourside past the little shops and bars on the right, then near the bottom look left for the Amadores walkway sign and stairs. Keep left and don't go up the stairs. The ferry boats and journey flyers are among the boats ahead. A return ticket for two was 7.50 euros, very cheap. The trip is only 10-12 minutes, and walking isn't really possible. We had a great day out, with an easy bus ride back to Playa Del ingles.
